Principle of Operation
Profile Projector is an optical instrument uses a high magnification projection lens, which magnifies the image of component under inspection. The magnified image is projected on a large projection screen and the profile of the component is compared with a standard profile of ideal component on the projection screen. The calibrated projection screen is used for accurate dimensional measurement. To increase the range of measurement for large size components, a high precision calibrated stage is used.

The projected image is free from Spherical and Chromatic Aberration. This maintains high accuracy in measurement at any part of entire projection screen.
Three different magnification lenses can be fixed to single Para Focal Projection Lens Turret of the profile projector and Focus does not change when you change the turret to another magnification.
